Shouson Hill is a quiet neighbourhood nestled on the hill between Ocean Park and Deep Water Bay, it is a low density area and consists of townhouses, deluxe villas and low rise apartments. The area is surrounded by plenty of greenery and can offer views of Cameron Hill and surrounding country parks as well as open seaviews looking out towards Discovery Bay.
Shouson Hill is one of the few areas on Hong Kong Island that offers a semblance of a suburban lifestyle in Hong Kong with most residences having their own car-parking and some outdoor space.
The neighbourhood is arguably the most ideal area for a small family with kids in Hong Kong. Most of properties in Shouson Hill provide ample space and family friendly layouts, just to the north there is the South Island School and St Paul Co-ed Primary, adjacent to the west has sporting facilities and Ocean Park which is largest theme park in Hong Kong, and just to the east is Discovery Bay Beach that also has restaurants and public barbeque pits.
Shouson Hill is just next to the Aberdeen Tunnel that connects directly to Causeway Bay to the North of Hong Kong Island allowing for quick access to the rest of Hong Kong by car, there are also buses and mini buses that traverse through the Shouson Hill area. Although in 2016 the brand new Ocean Park MTR Station located nearby between Ocean Park Road and Wong Chuk Hang Road should be operational which allows for travel time from there to Admiralty in just 4 minutes.
